The Australian and New Zealand College of Advanced Pharmacy (ANZCAP) has opened submissions to pharmacy students across Australia for its inaugural Pharmacy Student of the Year Award, with the winner, to be announced in September, to receive flights, accommodation and registration to attend Medicines Management 2024, Australia’s largest annual scientific pharmacy conference, in Adelaide in November.
The Australian and New Zealand College of Advanced Pharmacy (ANZCAP) will honour students embracing portfolio-building to help further their careers with a new award announced at the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia (SHPA)’s 2024 Student Symposium, held in partnership with the National Australian Pharmacy Students’ Association (NAPSA).
The Australian and New Zealand College of Advanced Pharmacy (ANZCAP) has formally recognised its 1000th pharmacist, while opening drop-in online consultation sessions to all pharmacists in Australia and New Zealand to support the completion of the fast-track Foundation Program.

Fiona Doukas FANZCAP (InfDis, Edu.) says recognition through ANZCAP can open doors in the future that are not possible today. ‘No matter where your experience come from, whether that’s community or hospital, the skills that you gain are transferable.’
