Fellowship
The Advanced Pharmacy Australia Fellowship (FAdPha) is awarded to members who have demonstrated sustained excellence and significant contributions to the pharmacy profession through professional impact, organisational leadership, and knowledge translation.
Fellowship recognises pharmacy professionals—including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians—who are leaders in their field, whose expertise is valued and sought, and who have made meaningful contributions to advancing pharmacy practice in Australia.
Fellowship and change to trading name
In August 2024 the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia begun trading as Advanced Pharmacy Australia (AdPha).
The Board of Directors confirms the ongoing status of all Fellowships. Fellows of the organisation are welcome to use the new post-nominal FAdPha, or transitional use of FSHP for a maximum of two years (to August 2026).

Background
For over thirty years the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia provided an opportunity for members to achieve academic advancement through the completion of post-graduate diplomas in hospital pharmacy administration and clinical pharmacy. Completion of both diplomas led to members being eligible for elevation to the status of Fellow.
