Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants
Constitutional Change 2024
From 15 April to 5 May 2024, Advanced Pharmacy Australia (AdPha) Members were invited to vote on a proposal to amend the AdPha Constitution and permit Technician Members to nominate for and be nominated to become an Elected Pharmacy Technician Board Director.
The proposal of this new role, complementing the expertise brought by the Board’s seven pharmacist directors, and three independent directors, was met with an overwhelming 'Yes' vote!

Australian Pharmacy Technician Day 2024
Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants are integral to Australia’s hospital pharmacy and broader health care workforce.
