Life Membership is a prestigious honour awarded by AdPha to individuals who have made significant and sustained contributions to the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia, now trading as Advanced Pharmacy Australia, over 50 years. Life Members are recognised for their sustained leadership, advocacy, and volunteer service. This status grants them voting rights and exempts them from membership fees, acknowledging their invaluable impact to SHPA/AdPha and their ongoing commitment to its mission. 

SHPA/AdPha members will be automatically elevated to Life members once 50 years of continuous membership has been reached.  

Through a collaborative partnership between the New Zealand Hospital Pharmacists' Association (NZHPA) and Advanced Pharmacy Australia (AdPha), NZHPA members can unlock access to specialised products and services offered by AdPha, including the Communities platform, home to Specialty Practice, and free access to the Australian and New Zealand College of Advanced Pharmacy (ANZCAP). 

This collaboration is designed to foster mutual understanding and enhance the practice of hospital pharmacy in both countries. By working together, we can support the growth and development of our members, ensuring they have access to the resources and opportunities needed to excel in their professional journeys.
