Have you ever had a transplant patient on your ward for a non-transplant related reason, like an NSTEMI or gall stones?
This event series is targeted at pharmacists who encounter transplant recipient patients in a non-acute transplant setting. It is designed to support pharmacists in the medication management of this specialised patient group.
Each evening session will focus on a specific organ and is led by a specialist transplant pharmacist. Sessions will feature presentations by both a medical or nurse practitioner and a specialist transplant pharmacist. Knowledge-check questions are available after each session to cement learnings.
The pre-seminar preparation comprises approximately 3 hours of learning material and will be available from mid May 2022. The live virtual sessions of this seminar will take place in the evenings of Tuesday 31 May, Tuesday 14 June and Tuesday 21 June from 7:30PM - 9:00PM AEST. The pre-seminar preparation materials must be completed prior to attending the live virtual sessions. The start and finish times listed for the live virtual sessions are to be confirmed and may be updated upon release of the program.
Please note: all attendees will have 18 weeks of access to the pre-seminar preparation materials and resources from your date of enrolment into this page. Enrolment details will be sent to registered attendees when available.
