The Masterclass in Laboratory Tests will expose pharmacists to various clinical scenarios and challenges related to the interpretation of laboratory tests in patients with complex medical needs.
It will cover the interpretation, application, and limitations of laboratory tests across speciality areas of infectious diseases, haematology, blood gas interpretation, and complex electrolyte management. Attendees will be challenged to work through interactive case-based sessions which highlight clinical decision-making processes that can be optimised through interpretation of laboratory tests.
The self-paced learning package comprises approximately 3.5 hours of learning material and will be available from Monday 1 July 2024. The live virtual component of this seminar will take place on Saturday 10 August 2024. The self-paced learning package materials must be completed prior to attending the live virtual seminar.
