The information session is a fantastic opportunity for fourth year pharamcy students interested in hospital pharmacy internships to ask any questions they have regarding hospital pharmacy and the application process.

Jacinta Johnson, B.Pharm(Hons) PhD FANZCAP (Edu. Research) GAICD FPS FSHP Senior Lecturer: UniSA Clinical and Health Sciences, Adelaide, SA
Dr. Jacinta Johnson is a credentialled Advanced Practice pharmacist with over 10 years of experience in hospital pharmacy practice. She currently works across two settings as Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice at the University of South Australia, and as Senior Pharmacist, supporting development of research capacity and culture within the SA Pharmacy, the statewide public hospital pharmacy service.
Jacinta’s PhD holds a PhD in Pharmacology from the University Adelaide and currently leads a small team or clinician researchers, to conduct research focused upon medication safety, pharmacy practice, practitioner development.
Dr. Johnson has a passion for supporting life-long learning, and currently serves as the Chair for the Residency Advisory Group. In addition, Jacinta is also a National Board Director and immediate past Vice President of the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia and is a member of the SHPA Research Specialty Practice Stream Leadership Group.
