Pharmaceutical and advanced therapeutic production credential

This hybrid course is designed to equip participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills required for credentialing in pharmaceutical and advanced therapeutic production. 

Course Requirements and Time Commitment 

To successfully complete the course and receive credentialing, participants must: 

  • Complete all 19 compulsory online modules plus 2 elective topics (approx. 10 hours), AND 

  • Attend a one-day virtual workshop, AND 

  • Attend a two-day in-person workshop in Sydney, AND 

  • Complete workplace-based assessments (approx. 4 hours) 

The online topics are pre-recorded and can be accessed at your convenience. Each module clearly states its duration, allowing you to plan accordingly. Modules must be completed in sequential order. You must complete each module, including its associated multiple-choice quiz, before progressing to the next. 

Course Workbooks 

Throughout the course, you will be provided with four workbooks: 

  1. Portfolio Assessment Workbook – Available upon enrolment 

  1. Virtual Workshop Workbook – Available one week before the virtual workshop 

  1. Live Event Workbook – Provided during the two-day in-person workshop 

  1. Workplace-Based Assessment Workbook – Distributed at the end of the in-person workshop 

Assessment Structure 

The assessment tasks are specifically designed to validate your competence in the pharmaceutical and advanced therapeutic production environment. Assessments are varied to support diverse learning styles and include: 

  • Multiple-choice quizzes – Required at the end of each online topic to unlock the next module 

  • Portfolio tasks – Collection of evidence from your learning and professional practice, such as reflections, projects, and work documents 

  • Case studies – Completed during the virtual workshop 

  • Workplace-based assessments – Practical demonstrations completed on-site 

Submission of Assessments 

  1. Multiple-choice quizzes: Submitted online within the learning platform 

  1. Virtual Workshop Workbook: Email to AdPha Education Team at education@adpha.au after attending the workshop and completing all activities 

  1. Portfolio Assessment Workbook: Submit to the facilitator on Day 1 of the live event; feedback will be returned on Day 2 

  1. Workplace-Based Assessment Workbook: Complete within your workplace. If an external assessor is needed, contact AdPha Education Team at education@adpha.au  

Preparation for learning 

  1. Familiarise yourself with the components of the course and understand the assessment requirements. 

  1. Confirm your attendance to the virtual one-day workshop and the two-day live workshop with your workplace manager. 

  1. Read and/or listen to all learning material provided. Even familiar topics may offer new insights and perspectives. 

  1. Create a study timeline to complete the course and come prepared to the workshops. Use the Q&A time to clarify doubts and enhance your understanding

This activity has been accredited for 4 hours of Group-2 CPD (or 8 CPD credits), suitable for inclusion in an individual pharmacist’s CPD plan.

This activity has been accredited for 1.25 hours of Group-1 CPD and 4.5 hours of Group-2 CPD for a total of 10.25 CPD credits, suitable for inclusion in an individual pharmacist’s CPD plan.

This activity has been accredited for 1 hour of Group-1 CPD and 14.5 hours of Group-2 CPD for a total of 30 CPD credits, suitable for inclusion in an individual pharmacist’s CPD plan.

Cancellation policy

  • Membership rate is only applicable if you are a member at the time of the seminar. Should your membership lapse, or if you resign you will be invoiced for the difference in registration.
  • Cancellations must be made in writing.
  • Cancellations received before 6 weeks prior to the event will receive a full refund. Non-members will be charged a $50 handling fee.
  • Cancellations received between 6 weeks and 1 week prior to the event will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee.
  • Cancellations received less than a week prior to the event will NOT be refunded.
  • AdPha reserve the right to cancel a seminar or make changes to the program
  • If AdPha cancels or defers the event you will receive 100% of the registration fee but AdPha bears no responsibility for any costs incurred  (such as flights, accommodation, travel or expenses) or loss of income.
  • It is recommended that participants obtain adequate insurance cover for travel and accommodation.
  • Transfer of registration – as an alternative to cancellation your registration may be transferred to another member of your organisation or another event (if the chosen seminar is a higher cost you will be subject to further charges). A request MUST be made in writing to the Federal Secretariat prior to the event.
  • If you are unable to attend AdPha policy is that handouts can not be made available as ‘stand alone’ materials

Venue/Accessbility requirements

  • For special accessibility requirements for in-person events please complete the relevant section when registering online and this information will be forwarded to third parties.
  • AdPha are in no way responsible for any connectivity issues as a result of the participants internet connection or hardware issues or other external factors impacting the internet, that are out of AdPha's control.

Catering/Dietary requirements

  • Please complete the necessary section when registering online. AdPha will notify third parties such as caterers/suppliers of any dietary requirements.
  • Whilst every care is taken to notify venues of dietary requirements, AdPha cannot guarantee completely allergy free meals, nor be held responsible for any adverse reaction. Any registrant who has notified AdPha of a dietary requirement should make themselves known to the seminar coordinator and/or venue staff upon their arrival.
  • Some dietary requirements such as Kosher meals may incur an additional cost which is the responsilbility of the delegate. AdPha will notify you in advance.

Recording/Filming

  • Recording and/or filming is not permitted by registrants. Please note this event may be recorded for the AdPha website and/or photos may be taken for use in AdPha resources and publications.
  • Registrants are not permitted to record or film any part of AdPha events in any format including audio recording or video recording or through use of mobile devices for filming

Registration

  • Numbers are capped so book early to avoid disappointment. Please note the only way to guarantee a space is to register online. Please ensure you register prior to booking your flights and accommodation.
  • If you do not receive a confirmation email then you are not registered for the event and will not be able to be accommodated on the day of the event. If you are following up on registration please ensure you contact the Federal Secretariat at least a week prior to the event.
