Dr Angela Molga, Clinical Pharmacologist, Geriatrician, Head of Unit, Department of Clinical Pharmacology, Royal Adelaide Hospital, Adelaide, SA
Dr Molga is a Clinical Pharmacologist and Geriatrician, and the Head of Unit of Clinical Pharmacology at the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) in South Australia.
She is one of the clinical leads of the Long COVID assessment clinic. She has been the lead researcher/Principal Investigator for over 20 phase 1 trials including vaccines, anti-neoplastics and antimicrobials. She is a member of and has chaired the South Australian Formulary Committee. Her other interests include medicolegal medicine, providing independent expert opinions to indemnity organisations.
Her medical education and training has been in Adelaide. She is a PhD candidate with the University of Adelaide and the Registry of Older Australians, SAHMRI. Her work focuses on patient reported outcomes in older people with haematological malignancies and she was awarded a clinical grant towards this work.
