

This seminar will be delivered by a combination of self paced online learning and a two day virtual seminar. It will provide an introduction to the complexities of pain management and the role of a pharmacist within the multidisciplinary team. Incorporating didactic and case-based sessions, the seminar will cover analgesia pharmacology, acute pain assessment, medication delivery (including PCA’s and epidurals), chronic pain including the multidisciplinary approach to management, and opioid stewardship.

The self-paced learning package comprises approximately 4 hours of learning material and will be available from Friday 18 March 2022. The live virtual component of this seminar will take place on Saturday 30 April and Sunday 1 May 2022. The self-paced learning package materials must be completed prior to attending the live virtual seminar. The start and finish times listed for the live virtual seminar are to be confirmed and may be updated upon release of the program.
