APSJ invites student and intern submissions for a special issue

Are you a student/intern researcher or have student/intern researchers in your networks?

The Australian Pharmacy Students' Journal (APSJ) is seeking pharmacy research submissions for a celebratory 8th issue to coincide with the 80th year since the beginning of the National Australian Pharmacy Students’ Association (NAPSA).

This milestone inspires the celebratory theme for the 8th issue: ‘SPARK – Celebrating Beginnings and New Ideas’.

Submissions for the celebratory issue close on 31st December 2025.

Eligibility for authors

The APSJ is the only peer-reviewed pharmacy student journal in the world and accepts research papers by pharmacy interns and students from all year levels.

Research papers written in collaboration with pharmacy academics or pharmacists are eligible for submission provided that the research was primarily led by a pharmacy student or intern.

Information for authors is available via Information For Authors | The Australian Pharmacy Students' Journal

Help us celebrate with a new award for ‘Best Paper’

For this special ‘SPARK’ issue, the APSJ is proud to introduce the inaugural Best Paper Award for the most outstanding submission, valued at AUD $300.

The award recipient shall receive the Best Paper Award prize (gift card valued at AUD $300) and a limited-edition physical printed copy (Australian-based authors only) of the issue with their article published in it. In addition, the front cover artwork of the ‘SPARK’ issue will be inspired by their research topic.

All submissions received by 31st December 2025 will be considered for the prize and for publication in the ‘SPARK’ Anniversary Celebratory Edition issue.
