Extension Seminar in Critical Care

Resgistration for this event has now closed! Please get in touch with education@adpha.au if you have any queries.

The Extension Seminar in Critical Care is designed for pharmacists looking to extend their base knowledge in critical care therapeutics and pharmacy practice.  This seminar is comprised of a self-paced learning package (approximately 7hrs of content) focusing on core therapeutics and pharmacy practice in a critical care setting, followed by a full day interactive live virtual seminar on Saturday 12 August 2023. The live virtual seminar will consist of therapeutic case base discussions, as well as group based pharmacy practice workshops and a pharmacy research interactive roundtable discussion. The seminar will provide attendees with an extension to core critical care therapeutics such as cardiology and neurology, as well as introduction to more advanced critical care areas such as toxicology and transplantation. Although not essential for the content of the seminar, previous attendance at the foundation level seminar is beneficial.

The self-paced learning package will be available from Friday 30 June 2023. The live virtual component of this seminar will take place on Saturday 12 August 2023
