This exciting Foundation Seminar in Cardiology is designed to form a foundation for your knowledge and skills in the cardiology and cardiothoracic space. Attendees will develop an appreciation of not only the medication management involved in the care of patients but also the pathophysiology behind the common conditions related to the heart. The seminar will include pre-recorded sessions from multidisciplinary specialists focusing on acute coronary syndromes, cardiothoracic surgery, heart failure and arrhythmias.
The knowledge gained in these sessions will be challenged in multiple small group case discussions where participants will be encouraged to formulate a plan and share it with the larger group.
This Foundation Seminar in Cardiology will be delivered by a combination of self-paced learning and a full day live virtual seminar.
The self-paced learning package comprises approximately 7 hours of learning material and will be available from Friday 19 April 2024. The live virtual component of this seminar will take place on Saturday 1 June 2024. The self-paced learning package materials must be completed prior to attending the live virtual seminar.
Please note: all attendees will have 18 weeks of access to the seminar self-paced learning package and resources from your date of enrolment into this page. Enrolment details will be sent to registered attendees when available.
Please note: presentation recordings from the live virtual seminar will not be available.
